For this fast-paced Netflix action film we were tasked to solve and execute multiple visual effects shots,
including a full CG F-35 jet wing flythrough, weapon liquid simulations as well as 3D-camera mapping work blended with a digi-double.
F-35 SHOT
For this shot we rendered a full CG jet with an interior modelled wing for the camera to fly through.
The shot ends on a CG cockpit with a blue screened pilot. There was also dirt, grime and scratches comped on to the joystick.

VAPE GUN SHOT
This shot required us to solve the mechanics of how the internals of the gun would work with the vape canister bullets
as well as how they would combust to be propelled forward. The simulation for the combustion was unique as it required
both a liquid simulation and a Pyro simulation and have them react with each other in a believable way.

SUNGLASSES SHOT
For the shot with Mi-Sun we created a digital double of her using Unreal's Metahuman as well as model all her assets like sunglasses earrings etc.
The plate was then projected onto all this geometry so we could rotate the 3D camera around her
and behind the glasses to reveal the UI elements on the lens.
High-resolution 3D eyes were also modelled and textured for when the camera shifted behind the lens.
